what a day.
Yesterday i shopped with mommy to buy Christmas presents and i ended up buying everyone gifts with my money. Today i went with my mom and aunt to help shop for groceries for the Christmas dinner. Before we started our shopping this morning we had breakfast at Denny's and i paid.
So I've spent over 200 dollars in the last 48 hours. but you know what? it feels fantastic. it is so much fun to spend money on others! i am anticipating Christmas time when i get to see all their faces.
I think i partly did it all, spending and tagging along to buy groceries cuz somewhere in my brain i feel it is the adult thing to do and you know ive been trying for being an "adult" for QUITE some time. The other reason is because it feels good to be generous, and i feel like i am stripping away the stingy cheap mentality i always have.
right now the focus is on God and being proactive not passive.
I feel like i always make plans but never pull through, i get hyped but it fades. So I'm taking Jon-Jon's suggestion for my New Years resolution and "finishing what i start"
So that is what this coming year is about.
